“Well we just had a fantastic time!! There were 16 in our group (4 siblings and their children) and there is plenty of room in this house to spread out for privacy. Gorgeous house! The views are incredible. It is located about equal distance between Mt Airy and Dobson with maybe a 5-7 mile ride to town. We took one day to drive to Charlotte to the US Whitewater rafting facility (Used for practice by our US Olympic team). We spent another day in the town of “Mayberry” (Mt. Airy) at the Andy Griffith museum which the siblings were into, but the kids definitely were not lol. We played some minigolf in Mt Airy, got mani/pedis at Essence in Mt Airy, went to Franks Theater in Mt Airy for the movies, and visited Shelton Vineyards. The rest of the time we were here we spent enjoying the house and each other in it. The house has TONS of games to play, which we brought as well but did not need. The kids (age 11-22) spent most of their time hanging out in the gameroom playing pool. We did do some local fishing and actually caught and release fish at the property pond in the common area. We went to dinner at Putters in Dobson on our first night in, Little Richards BBQ in Mt Airy, and ended the week at The Depot, which the owner recommended – and she was right! Overall this was a wonderful week! I highly recommend this house!”
